This feeder is 170mm around (6.625 inches) and has threads to accept a standard mouth mason jar. As water draws down in the open area the bottle will replenish the supply, without overflowing, until the jar is empty.

The feeder does not come with a jar so you'll need to provide one. Any size standard mouth mason jar will fit. You should observe a single unbroken thread wrapped around the outside of your jar and slightly overlapping its ends.
